I visited Garden Village towards the end of a three month stay in Costa Rica where I had the opportunity to travel across the country and experience many different communities and cultures. While I have enjoyed each and every one of these experiences, none of these places have offered the wealth of kindness, community, and learning that I encountered at Garden Village. My brief stay at Garden Village gave me the opportunity to live, work, and learn in a living and breathing intentional permaculture community. I was struck the enthusiasm and energy Susannah and David have put into this life path, a path that they are eager to share and expand through community growth and involvement. I believe that through these individuals’ knowledge and experience Garden Village has the potential to expand into a sustainable community space where friends and participants may live and work in harmony with others and the natural environment. I am so grateful to have had this amazing opportunity, and I hope to one day return to Garden Village to further contribute to this project and learn from this incredible community.
