natural landscape, and she is an extremely kind, welcoming and loving individual.  In only two days time, my friends and I learned how to harvest bananas, created three garden beds with the lasagna-style technique working alongside several other community members, and we also incorporated local varieties of fruits and vegetables into a diverse array of tasty recipes including kimchi, quesadillas, and starfruit jam.

David, an incredibly intuitive innovator, also taught our group many technical skills including woodworking, electrical wire repairing, knot-tying and building construction. My short stay has provided me with great intimate knowledge for community permaculture and practical, sustainable technological skills.  In effect, I have widened my abilities and possibilities for self-sufficiency. I look forward to staying at Garden Village again to learn from and contribute more to this purposeful, integrative project.
