Our stay with Susannah at Garden Village was surrounded in beauty; an uplifting and cherished experience. From the very first moments of being on this vibrant piece of land we quickly felt the love and abundance it has to offer. Feeling highly connected to the flora through harvesting food such as sugar cane for sweet juice, and broccoli greens and malanga from the gardens for meals and feeling connected to the fauna through feeding chickens, being blessed with the birth of new chicks, and lovely brief walks for fresh dairy. As two ladies strengthening our connection with the Costa Rican jungles, animals, and foods, Garden village offered permaculture education in an inspirational enviornment. Once you spend time on this land, you are not simply a visitor but a living entity and part of the flow of life that is present. Tucked away in a peaceful haven where the wild life is living happily, plant knowledge is gracefully shared, and lending a helping hand is gratefully appreciated. At Garden Village you are free, accepted and encouraged to shine and progress within the vast lively jungle that surrounds the land. Susannah is a shining light; we found ourselves feeling incredibly lucky to be amongst this land sharing space and time with her. We highly encourage feeling what Garden Village has to offer. Everything we learned and gained from this experience will not only never be forgotten but will continue to live through us each day.
